I went to see Rogue One with Elizabeth and Brandon (this will have spoilers, so be forewarned). I don’t usually spend this kind of time reviewing a movie and this is more of my own take at this time in my life and history in general.

Feel it in your fingers and hand.
I bet you’ve had a favorite one at one time or another. Or perhaps you just write with whatever you can find and within days it’s lost again and you find the next one.
Limits. Who made up that word up anyway?
My dictionary defines a limit as, “The final, upmost or furthest boundary as to extent, amount, continuance, procedure, etc.”

I hate distance running.
Hiking for 15 hours? Absolutely!
But pushing myself while sucking wind and not being able to enjoy the view is not my idea of fun.
I remember one year when I lived in Michigan on a July 4th there were storms coming across Lake Michigan.
Not one small batch of rain — no, it was a serious line of severe storms I saw on the radar and I knew it was headed due east from the Wisconsin side to the Michigan side.
I write this with a thin veil of time between what’s left of 2014 A.D. and 2015 A.D. – anno domini, “The year of our Lord.”
It is another New Year of our Lord. And another passed into our history.
We are not alone – that’s the most important theme of Christmas to me.
I sat on the stairs with my hands covering my mouth, in state of shock.
I was sitting next to pieces of my teeth.
Now that I have put myself out there for God to somehow use the likes of a man like me, I need to share how I envision this being done.
